Miss Mary Stewart, who on July 18, 1929, was appointed Assistant Director of Education in the Indian Office, Department of the Interior, under Civil Service Rule II, section 10, without competitive examination, with the approval of the Civil Service Commission, because there were no eligibles at that time possessing her peculiar qualifications, is hereby placed in the classified service.
This order is issued upon the recommendation of the Secretary of the Interior.
